The Union Home Ministry has approved the use of trains for people stranded due to the lockdown. An official informed him. Earlier, a special train was run from Telangana to Jharkhand. The train carried 1200 passengers. RPF DG Arun Kumar said the 24-coach train left at 4.50 am on Friday. He said this is the first train running for tourists.

A special train from Aluva railway station carrying about 1,200 migrant laborers from Kerala will then leave for Bhubaneswar in Orissa on Friday evening. Minister of State VS Sunil Kumar gave this information. He said migrant laborers from Orissa had been staying in relief camps in Ernakulam district since the lockdown was imposed.
